Tommy Hilfiger announces together with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team that New York streetwear brand Awake NY has co-created the new Tommy x Mercedes-AMG F1 x Awake NY collection and campaign. Launching on May 4th ahead of the Miami Grand Prix, the collection combines Awake NY’s founder Angelo Baque’s street-style sensibility with TOMMY HILFIGER’s signature prep aesthetic to create a range of motorsport-inspired lifestyle icons that dares to be different.

“I have been an F1 fan since I was a kid, and we’ve been breaking conventions in our partnerships with the sport since the ‘90s” said Tommy Hilfiger. “With this collaboration, we wanted to continue to innovate with both design and an inclusive spirit to create a bold new perspective for the next generation of race-goers.”

Angelo Baque, an immense admirer of Lewis Hamilton and fan of Formula 1, was able to lend his design values and ethos to the community, culture and city of Miami in celebration of its Grand Prix weekend.  The collection presents a fresh new vision of Formula 1, where perspectives collide, inspiration is sparked, and everybody is welcome to join the ride.

“My visit to the Tommy archive sparked the nostalgia of my youth and inspired much of my approach to this collection,” said Angelo Baque. “My desire was to authentically interpret streetwear and Americana. Never in a million years did I think this Ecuadorian kid from Queens, NY, would be designing pieces proudly worn by Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Mercedes-AMG F1. Seeing Tommy, Lewis and myself working together on this project is important for the younger versions of ourselves to understand representation matters.”

The campaign follows stories of the grit, determination and spirit that inspired seven-time champion and F1 legend Lewis Hamilton, Grand-Prix winner George Russell and Awake NY’s Angelo Baque, as well as Mr. Tommy Hilfiger, on their individual journeys. Reflecting the values of the People’s Place program, a Tommy Hilfiger initiative that aims to give opportunity to underrepresented communities in the creative industry, the collaboration will work with Creatives Want Change (CWC), inviting BIPOC participants to attend the race in Miami on May 7th. Danae Harrison, Dayne Thompson and Donald Whorley from CWC will work closely with Angelo Baque on the grid before the race, exploring how the collaboration evolves, from concept to production.

The Tommy x Mercedes-AMG F1 x Awake NY collection of seven gender-inclusive styles reinvents archival staples with inspirations from racing and NYC street aesthetics. The essence of Americana is brought to Formula 1 in a classic baseball jersey, while a T-Shirt dedicated to the Miami Grand Prix comes in diva pink, electric blue lemonade and black options. The Tommy, Awake NY and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team logos feature across long-sleeves, polos, baseball jerseys and rugby shirts. T-shirts and baseball jerseys display the drivers’ racing numbers, with Lewis Hamilton’s 44 and George Russell’s 63, while a special Awake NY tribute references ’85, the year Tommy Hilfiger was launched. Colorways include Tommy’s signature red, white and blue, while the Mercedes-AMG F1 pieces showcase the core team palette of black and white highlighted with volt green.

Tommy Hilfiger announces the new Tommy Hilfiger and Disney partnership in celebration of Disney’s 100th anniversary. For the first time, Mickey and friends enter the wondrous world of college prep, appearing on TOMMY HILFIGER archival classics. Calvin Klein today unveils its Spring 2023 campaign featuring a cast of global stars shot by renowned photographer duo, Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott. The new campaign continues the Calvins or nothing concept highlighting the world’s most dynamic talent, stripped back to showcase their confidence and sensuality. The campaign features existing ambassadors and friends of the brand, JENNIE, Kendall Jenner and FKA twigs, as well as Michael B. The e-commerce platform follows Tommy Hilfiger's strategy to drive digitization across the company and build its online community by reaching the next generation of consumers. Tommy Hilfiger announces the launch of a TOMMY JEANS and Keith Haring capsule collection. Tommy Hilfiger and Keith Haring shared a passion for democratizing art and fashion in 1980s New York, with the feeling summed up by Haring’s message, “Art Is For Everybody”, describing the spirit of his legendary POP SHOP at 292 Lafayette Street. Today, this energy continues to inspire Tommy Hilfiger’s inclusive vision to “Welcome All”, reflecting the way he originally laid the foundations for his all-American brand.

The feeling lives on in a contemporary way in the Tommy x Keith Haring collection, as Haring’s graphic expressions are put on TOMMY JEANS’ classics and fashion is merged with art in pieces that recall aesthetics synonymous with both cultural pioneers’ roots in hip-hop and New York City.

“Keith Haring is a New York icon and represents the city’s creative spirit,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “We shared commitment to inclusivity, self-expression and spreading optimism. This collection channels positivity and brings Keith’s unmistakable energy to modern-day prep.”

The 30-piece Tommy x Keith Haring collection features menswear, womenswear and novelties covered in Haring’s unmistakable graphics. Relaxed prep silhouettes become a canvas for Haring’s artwork, illustrated with icons in garment-dyed, sun-bleached and washed-up treatments.

Key pieces include a wool varsity jacket with dancing dog badges up its leather sleeves and a chenille heart face on the chest, and a unisex American fit denim jacket with a patchwork of his classic dancing figures. Knits, jumpers and hoodies inspired by vintage Americana feature icons including the radiant baby which symbolized innocence, inherent goodness, and potential of youth, and the three-eyed face which featured prominently in the POP SHOP.  Haring often used invitations and posters as a form of art, representing another way of sharing his work with the public, and this comes to life on a women’s hook up top and shorts combo with graphics of an invite to his exhibition at Westbeth Paint’s Space in 1991. A white T-shirt shows nine Polaroids of Haring taken throughout his career, including a central masked photo he made whilst exploring making art in different mediums at The School of Visual Arts.

The campaign, photographed by Elliot Kennedy, is inspired by Haring’s influence and the pop art movement, with the images coming to life in a canvas of color over optimistic faces. Textured overlays in paint, marker pen and chalk recall his multi-disciplinary and DIY style.

Video footage, shot by Thomas Nuijten, sounds the voice of next-generation creatives as digital artist Gabriel Massan and musician Talia Goddess give soundbites recalling the feeling of community that Haring and Hilfiger first laid out all those years ago. 

Celebrating the spirit and creative mission of ‘Art is For Everybody’, an exhibition will be shown at globally renowned Los Angeles based art gallery, The Broad, from May 27th-October 8th. Over 120 works and archive materials will be shown exploring Haring’s practice and life, displaying his vibrant use of color and energetic linework.

The partnership was formed in collaboration with Artestar, a global licensing agency and creative consultancy representing high-profile artists, photographers, designers and creatives.

Tommy Hilfiger presents its Spring 2023 Classics Reborn campaign with a new collection reinventing all-time prep classics, with a cast of rising creative forces.

The campaign reflects the spirit of the Tommy Factory, which defined the TOMMY HILFIGER collection for Fall 2022, as artists from different scenes are brought together from the worlds of fashion, music and entertainment. The talents include style icon Georgia May Jagger, Harvard student and ambassador for youth Aoki Lee Simmons, artist and model Kesewa Aboah, multi-disciplinary artist Kailand Morris, musician Dylan Brosnan, painter Paris Brosnan and artist Sean Koons.

The imagery for Classics Reborn, shot by Gregory Harris, portrays how the 250-piece collection can be worn dressed up, dressed down, or anywhere in between.

The Spring 2021 TOMMY JEANS collection channels urban and athletic influences. Classic styles and archive heroes are updated with a fresh modern twist and available in extended sizes. Continuing the brand’s ambitious sustainability mission, high-tech innovations allow for more sustainable fabrications. This includes 100% recycled denim created using an innovative technique that blends bedsheets with other recycled cotton scraps far surpassing the industry average of 30% recycled cotton. Water use is reduced considerably, enabling us to save up to 50 liters of water per garment compared to like-for-like denim washes.

Tommy Hilfiger announces the opening of the new TOMMY HILFIGER store located on the 2nd floor of the Bamboo Tower in Town Center, Costa del Este, Panama.

 At the store's official opening on December 13, the store was transformed into Tommy Factory, a creative space inspired by Andy Warhol's famous studio in New York and the theme of the brand's global Fall '22 campaign. Upon entering the store, guests were greeted by live music and art, as well as an art studio-inspired space for digital and Polaroid photography opportunities.

During the event, activations celebrated Tommy Factory's creative and innovative spirit. Attendees enjoyed live music by DJ Funky Josh and drummer Maleh Branca while discovering a molecular mixology experience by Spheres. Panamanian visual artist Luzroja presented her paintings inspired by the TOMMY HILFIGER flag in the store's art studio space, and created mixed-media pieces that guests received at the end of the event. Renowned graffiti artist Insano created a live piece inspired by the brand, bringing the space to even more life.

ASW Group announces the opening of a new Calvin Klein Outlet store in Medellin, Colombia. The opening took place in September 2022. The 214-square-meter store is located on the second floor of the Parque Fabricato Shopping Center. 

It opened its doors with the Fall22 season and Calvin Klein Jeans, Underwear, Accessories and Footwear product lines for men and women, as well as the kids line. The new store reflects the modern and minimalist aesthetic of Calvin Klein design, highlighting celebrities from the campaign with JENNIE and Dominic Fike.

 On October 20, 2022, Tommy Hilfiger celebrated the official opening of its new store in Bogota's Zona T with an opening event inspired by Andy Warhol's famous New York studio, 'Tommy Factory' reimagines a creative epicenter that celebrates pop culture, fusing fashion, art, music and live entertainment. The list of 86 guests in attendance stood out for great celebrities, influencers, stylists, artists, musicians and Colombian personalities. Some of the most recognized attendees were: Carlos Torres, Laura Tobón, Amelia and Elisa Ochoa (Sisterly Style), Juan Felipe Samper, Nina Rodríguez, Vanessa Domínguez, Mabel Moreno, Juan Alfonso Baptista and Julio Correal. The 234-square-meter Tommy Hilfiger store in Bogotá´s Zona T was designed under the brand's new global concept that fuses Tommy Hilfiger's DNA and legacy with clean, modern finishes and a bright, airy aesthetic. We developed a specially designed façade with glass windows with vertical fins in corporate colors creating natural segments and polished stainless steel elements.  The interior decoration gives it this new TH twist with cleaner, lighter lines. This concept seeks a higher and more sophisticated atmosphere, inspired by the new concepts developed in Paris and Berlin. Based on illuminated wall panels of high gloss white wood, metal, oak, red and blue accent lacquered woods, fabrics and glass. The intention is to handle more transparent accessories and at the same time allow a balance between lifestyle and the impacts of the items, keeping our current customer seeing the brand in a fresh and exciting way. Tommy Hilfiger has created a new monogram with celebrated British illustrator and graphic designer Fergus Purcell. Building on the Company’s history of collaborating with the most significant contemporary creatives, the monogram reimagines the TOMMY HILFIGER brand’s core DNA, and will appear for the first time in the Fall 2022 collection.

The new design is the result of extensive research into the TOMMY HILFIGER archive. Purcell has created a bold reinterpretation of the motifs he discovered on iconic pieces from the brand’s design history. Created from an interlocking T and H, the monogram collides the classic with the new, bringing a new perspective to prep sensibility: as such, it is quintessentially TOMMY HILFIGER.

“Since 1985, the ‘TH’ monogram has stood for authentic prep style, playfully reinvented for all,” says Tommy Hilfiger. “Fergus Purcell has been a truly inspiring collaborator. His elevated approach and connection to street culture is unique. It has been a joy to reinvent our monogram with him - for 2022 and beyond.”

Purcell’s new motif has inspired Tommy Hilfiger’s Fall 2022 “TH Monogram” collection, which brings a forward-thinking spirit to East Coast heritage style across men’s, women’s and kidswear.

Premium monogrammed pieces are offered in the brand’s signature Burgundy, Navy and Snow White. On puffers, accessories and unisex styles, the monogram is abstracted into an all-over pattern, whilst on the iconic Rocky Parker and across tailoring, it is depicted as a tonal lattice. Shifts in scale reflect the dynamic versatility of this new brand mark.

Refined fabrication and detailing elevate the offering. Casualwear is crafted in premium wool and recycled yarns. Prep classics are filled with recycled down and feature intricate jacquard. Statement-placed embroidered monograms, leather paneling and metal-trim buttons embellish throughout.

Tommy Hilfiger, has celebrated its homecoming to New York Fashion Week on Sunday, September 11th with Tommy Factory Fall ‘22 Runway Show – and in true New York style, the show went on despite the rain. The show unveiled the new TH Monogram, created in partnership with illustrator and graphic designer Fergus Purcell, delivering a new take on modern prep. Digital innovations immersed physical audiences in an experiential multiverse runway show – while the livestream for global audiences blended the physical show into the virtual world featuring Superplastic star avatars.

RETURNING TO NEW YORK WITH TOMMY FACTORY

Inspired by Warhol’s legacy of celebrating pop culture and creative expression, the phygital event brought together Futuremakers from the worlds of fashion, music, art and entertainment under one roof. Audiences arrived with the set intentionally unfinished, inviting them to experience the making of a fashion show with a cast of forward-thinking artists. Jon Batiste embraced the concept and gave an impromptu performance as he walked the carpet. The first-of-its-kind simultaneous IRL and URL runway show immersed guests in the creative playground of Tommy Factory, celebrating boundary-pushing collections and creativity across all worlds. The show grand finale included a one-off performance by legendary drummer and producer Travis Barker, playing an exclusive track for Tommy Factory, with the skyline set behind him.

THE MAKING OF A FASHION SHOW

A curated cast of next-generation photographers, videographers and artists created live art at the show and gave audiences full access to backstage preparations of the show – including hair, make-up, first looks and set design. Live set creation featured local NY talent, including Scotty Selvin, set designer; Gabe Rozzell, airbrush artist; Print Mafia & Made By Crack, screen printer; Te’an Archer, wheatpasting; Bladi, photographer; Risa Andy, live printing and wheatpasting; and graffiti artists Kyzer, OM!, Humane and DNTWATCHTV. Their content was broadcast alongside the show as part of the physical set, in the livestream within the TOMMY PLAY experience on Roblox and across the brand’s channels.

MODELS ON THE RUNWAY

The show was opened by Jalin Johnson and featured a diverse cast of models including Lila Moss, Winnie Harlow, Alton Mason, Amelia Gray, Duckie Thot, Hari Nef, Julia Fox, Paloma Elsesser, Parker van Noord, Precious Lee on the physical runway – as well as Bob Colacello, Warhol’s right-hand-man and editor of Interview magazine and American actress and model Donna Jordan, well-known as a Warhol Superstar. Avatar stars from Superplastic Janky, Guggimon and Dayzee took to the virtual runway in TOMMY PLAY wearing Tommy Hilfiger x Richard Quinn and made a special appearance at the IRL event through digital innovation.

The IRL show was attended by Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Corey Gamble, Richard Quinn, Shawn Mendes, Jon Batiste, Kate Moss, Halima Aden, John Legend, Rickey Thompson, Jaylen Brown, Anthony Ramos and Paulo André. Special guest appearance from original Factory member Jane Forth, who won her notoriety as Warhol’s teenage superstar. BLENDING IRL & URL WORLDS

Guests arrived at Tommy Factory and were immediately immersed in the phygitally created brand world. Mylar balloons, inspired by Warhol’s iconic Silver Clouds, were floating against the NYC skyline – and given a digital twist with an augmented video remix of an AR guest-generated balloon installation and immersive NYC environment from Roblox played on a loop across the screens. As the experience progressed, live art was made in the creative playground while metaverse activations engaged IRL audiences, such as the Tommy Factory NFT, courtesy of Rove, that guests could receive through their phone in under a minute.

As an industry first, the physical show was livestreamed for the community on Roblox as part of an exclusively produced runway event using cutting-edge Roblox technology. Audiences could watch the IRL show while simultaneously watching screens that broadcast the show in Roblox’s remixed New York, in real-time. At the same time, the metaverse catwalk featured Superplastic star talent avatars Janky, Guggimon and Dayzee, with a special appearance from Chinees metahuman NOAH – creating a truly phygital experience across all consumer touchpoints.

DEMOCRATIZING FASHION – ‘SEE NOW, BUY NOW’

An assortment of menswear, womenswear and gender-inclusive styles were available to purchase in real time the moment they hit the runway, through the brand’s signature ‘See Now, Buy Now’ concept, with exclusive digital products available on Roblox. The collections are now available across the brand’s global channels, in retail stores and at select wholesalers.

Tommy Hilfiger announces its return to New York Fashion Week for the first time in three years with an experiential runway event that will unveil the latest “See Now, Buy Now” Fall 2022 collection while immersing audiences physically and digitally into a refreshed brand world.

Tommy Hilfiger further expands its ever-evolving Roblox experience with a virtual TOMMY PLAY store. The brand’s presence on Roblox launched in December 2021 with eight digital fashion designers from the Roblox community creating the Tommy X Roblox Creators collection. The collaboration then expanded to include the June 2022 launch of TOMMY PLAY, an immersive social space with ongoing content updates for the Roblox community. This latest step reflects Tommy Hilfiger’s continued ambitions to offer unique brand experiences to its global community.

The store is a hub for the TOMMY JEANS Pop collection, products which include iconic puffers, windbreakers, hoodies and accessories, such as a logoed bucket hat and bumbag. Alongside the retail space, the main attraction is parkour, where the community can enter a spray paint area to create their own tags and unlock street dancing. Roblox users also can work towards getting into a secret space, complete with a DJ booth for hosting parties. Once achieved, users will find favorites such as a hotdog backpack and the chicken – now a main character in this map.

The campaign features the brand’s new collection, a reimagined approach to Pride.

The space features mini games and Tommy Coins to collect, upgrade or trade for items like bikes, helmets with superpowers, headphones and TOMMY JEANS garments and accessories. The virtual BMX park is a highlight, where users can explore the area, learn tricks, and engage in friendly bike competitions that are tracked on a daily leader board. They can also unlock hidden experiences and join scavenger hunts to discover unique items for their avatar or uncover secret clues about what’s to come.

Launching May 16, 2022, the TOMMY HILFIGER “Classics Reborn” campaign was shot by Craig McDean and features Shawn Mendes wearing styles from the 1985 Program collection, including the iconic 1985 polo which is made from organic cotton. Throughout the 1985 Program’s 2022 collections alone, the use of organic cotton reduces CO2eq by about 48% and avoids 692 tons of emissions — equivalent to 641 one-way flights from London to New York for one passenger. Shawn Mendes also wears more sustainable denim that is produced using 20% post-consumer recycled cotton and requires less water and energy during its finishing stages. The look is completed with curated vintage TOMMY HILFIGER pieces that celebrate nostalgic favorites.

For his upcoming Wonder: The World Tour, Shawn Mendes has committed to making the tour climate positive, by reducing CO2 emissions by 50% per show compared to his last world tour in 2019, and mitigating all remaining emissions through a combination of carbon removal and carbon avoidance projects. To support their shared mission and partnership, Tommy Hilfiger will donate US$1 million to help make the tour’s Sustainability & Tour Greening Program possible. A substantial portion of this investment will be donated to regenerative cotton farming, to continue to build upon the impact of Tommy Hilfiger’s wider sustainability initiatives. Throughout the tour, Shawn Mendes will also wear custom-made and more sustainable designs featuring looks made using liability fabrics and trimmings (leftovers from past TOMMY HILFIGER collections), as well as vintage deadstock fabrics.

Tommy Hilfiger introduces the Spring 2022 “Make Your Move” brand campaign, featuring Grammy-winning, Golden Globe and Emmy nominated performer Anthony Ramos. The campaign is a vibrant clash of modern prep styles from the Spring 2022 TOMMY HILFIGER collection with Anthony’s world of music and pop culture, resulting in a fresh take on iconic pieces.

The global campaign will go live on all Tommy Hilfiger social channels on March 15, 2022, as well as in select TOMMY HILFIGER flagship stores, which will be transformed to further amplify the campaign. The storefronts will feature a QR code that activates augmented-reality mannequins on Instagram, showcasing dance moves and inviting fans to take a photo with them and share on their social channels. Adding a different dimension to the campaign, a #MoveWithTommy TikTok activation will take place in April, where fans and friends of the brand can give their interpretation of Modern Prep to the soundtrack of “Stand Up” by Grammy-nominated American rapper Ludacris. The song “Stand Up” will be featured on all video assets with sound throughout the Spring campaign as well as on dedicated social activations and across the brand’s digital advertising platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Snapchat.

Tommy Hilfiger, announces the new TOMMY JEANS Spring 2022 “Play To Progress” brand campaign. Promoting a mindset of curiosity and creativity, TOMMY JEANS explores new ways to inspire positive change through experimentation and play. The campaign goes live on February 1, 2022, with creative talent Tems, imma and BikeLifeRex.

Three Futuremakers from different corners of the world bring the “Play To Progress” mindset to life through music, internet and street culture. Directly connected to the brand’s roots in music heritage, Nigerian-born and Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and producer Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems (@temsbaby), leads the first chapter of the campaign. Her self-produced lyrics and afro-beats celebrate creative experimentation and harness the power of play. Director and photographer Bolade Banjo shoots Tems’s campaign alongside stylist Dunsin Wright and production company Pundersons Garden, while Tems’s “Vibe Out” from her most recent EP If Orange Was A Place is the campaign’s soundtrack. 

“Learning to find what your own stance is in life evolves your creativity. That’s freedom,” shares Tems, as she reflects on what “Play To Progress” means to her. “I was tired of waiting for help. So, I taught myself the production skills I needed to make a song. Only I have the power to change my fate.” 

In the second chapter of the campaign, Asia’s first CGI and hyper-realistic model by virtual human company Aww Inc., imma (@imma.gram) blurs the lines between the digital and physical world. Photographer Takako Noel shoots imma’s campaign with Director of Photography Ryosuke Sato and Visual Effects by Masanao Takeuchi. As her unique existence goes beyond the boundaries of real and virtual, imma creates endlessly new possibilities in fashion, the metaverse, commercials and social media, while she questions identity, gender and race with a delightful sense of playfulness.

Lastly, “Play To Progress” chapter three showcases extreme tricks and experimentation from Philadelphia as BMX-er Rayshawn Isaiah Washington, or BikeLifeRex (@bikeliferex), inspires future generations to explore their community. As a strong advocate for kids and street culture, BikeLifeRex supports local youth with a safe space to learn and have fun through play with his action-packed bike crew. Photographer Jared Sherbert and Director Ben Fitzgerald create BikeLifeRex’s campaign alongside production company Pundersons Garden. 

Each talent in the campaign is wearing the Chicago reversible windbreaker, featuring the brand’s iconic bold color blocking. Alongside the campaign, TOMMY JEANS simultaneously embraces the “Play To Progress” mindset with the introduction of Denim Progressed. The new denim program focuses on progression in style and sustainability with 100% recycled denim including hemp denim to save soil and circular denim, designed from the start to be made again.

For Fall ’21, Calvin Klein introduces the latest chapter of the #mycalvins movement: The Language of Calvin Klein, a multimedia campaign furthering the brand’s exploration of self-expression through the words we speak and the clothes we wear. Highlighting the ever-growing hip-hop, rap and R&B scene in Europe, ROUNDS is a series of live performances by emerging and established musicians, using a 360-degree portraiture effect. To maximize impact, the “Less Buzz, More Music” campaign will be amplified through genre-targeted rotational content, served on Vevo’s vast Connected TV (CTV) network.

The Fall 2021 TOMMY JEANS campaign brings ‘outwear out loud’ by reimagining street-inspired style, while staying true to the culture it emerged from. The “Less Buzz, More Music” campaign highlights items that speak to the personal style of the musicians: sustainable puffers and jackets finished in color-popping shades and statement silhouettes that give an irreverent twist. Featuring 100% recycled denim to reduce waste, water and energy consumption, the collection’s outerwear pieces are produced using 100% organic cotton and recycled shell fabric.

On August 12th, 2021 ASW welcomed local influencers to their Calvin Klein showroom in Panama to discover the upcoming Fall21 collection and enjoy a personalized experience hosted by fashion stylist Carolina Tarté. Panamanian photographer Yassell Chapman captured each of the guests in the minimalist aesthetic of the brand while DJ Slimflo elevated the ambiance.

On August 12th, 2021 ASW welcomed local influencers to their Tommy Hilfiger and Tommy Jeans showrooms in Panama to discover the upcoming Fall21 collections and participate in a styling session hosted by fashion stylist Carolina Tarté. The Tommy Hilfiger Adaptive line offers modified conventional clothing for consumers with special capabilities and will be available from Spring2022.

Each piece is thoughtfully designed with the end consumer in mind and features adjusted seams and openings to allow ease of dressing both for individuals and for caretakers. Modifications include magnetic shoulder, front and back closures to help pull clothes over the head; Velcro® brand closures and magnetic flies for ease in wearing pants, jeans and chinos; adjusted leg openings and hems to accommodate leg braces and orthotics; magnetic zippers to enable individuals to zip and unzip with one hand; and pull-on pant loops inside of waist bands and fit around the wrist to pull on pants.

In co-designing the TommyXIndya capsule collection, Indya Moore sought to empower their community to express themselves without limitations. From the polo shirt, Oxford button-down shirt and bandeau top, to the pin-stripe blazer and double-bridged sunglasses, each style was inspired by a signature piece from the TOMMY HILFIGER archive and reimagined to respect multiple gender expressions. Features such as widened shoulders and adaptable silhouettes aim to encourage continuous self-expression, fluidity and exploration. The capsule also tells Indya Moore’s personal story, with details like their initials in collegiate font, their hometown of the Bronx, New York spelled across the chest, and a lotus flower graphic running throughout, symbolizing rebirth, growth and self-actualization.

• Chella Man (@chellaman): Multimedia artist Chella is a deaf, transgender man of Chinese and Jewish heritage. He is the author of the book, Continuum, which chronicles his intersectional experiences.
• Gia Love (@love.gia): Activist and model Gia is the creator of the “What’s Your Fantasy” campaign that advocates for the rights of black transgender women.
• Cory Walker (@corywalkers): Cory is a model and actor based in New York City. They are represented by New Pandemics, a casting and management agency leading the fight for meaningful LGBTQIA+ representation.
• Pidgeon (@pidgeon): Intersex advocate and co-founder of the Intersex Justice Project, Pidgeon was honored as an LGBTQIA+ Champion of Change by the Obama White House.

As part of the partnership, donations were made to three causes that resonate with both Indya Moore and Tommy Hilfiger’s values:  Rainbow Railroad, a non-profit that helps persecuted LGBTQI+ individuals around the world to find safety; Reuniting of African Descants (ROAD), a Black trans-led grassroots project invested in advancing the social and economic well-being of African Descendants, with an urgent focus on queer, same-gender-loving, transgender, and non-binary people, and ultimately the entire community; and the Global Coralition who focuses on accelerating marine restoration with local island communities by combining the power of art and science. Inspired by the spirit of these charities, Indya Moore also designed three charms that feature on the TommyXIndya bag and hat.

Tommy Hilfiger, announces the launch of its first Jeans Redesign garments made to be more durable and recyclable – two critical components in creating a circular economy. Crafted in-line with the company's 2019 pledge to the Ellen MacArthur Foundation Jeans Redesign project, the denim range will be available online at tommy.com and in select TOMMY HILFIGER and TOMMY JEANS stores beginning March 3, 2021.

Guided by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Jeans Redesign project, the seven garments, including five pairs of jeans and two denim jackets, were made with durability, material health, recyclability, and traceability in mind. This was achieved by rethinking the design of the jeans according to circular principles, including using detachable buttons; the replacement of metal rivets with bar tacks; the removal of all metal zippers; removal of the leather patch; and use of 100% organic fabric. To increase durability of the products, each piece features wash and care instructions on the pockets, along with advice on how to repair, donate or recycle the product after use.
